Objective: Drive awareness, amplify engagement, and boost donations for You Angel Foundation by creating a dynamic, inspiring, and donation-friendly platform.
Campaign: From Shadows to Spotlight For nearly two decades, You Angel Foundation has been a beacon of hope in Ukraine, uplifting children battling severe health challenges and distressing life circumstances. Despite their impactful work, their online platform didn’t do justice to the depth and reach of their mission. It was time for a transformation—a digital rebirth that would connect with hearts worldwide.
Craft & Slate was honored to be entrusted with redesigning their website, with the goal of building a digital platform that not only reflected the compassion and care they provide but also empowered them to reach a broader audience and boost donations.
Our challenge was clear: to transform an outdated, content-heavy website into an emotionally compelling, dynamic, and easy-to-navigate space for supporters and families alike.
Website Challenge:
The original You Angel website was a heavy, text-laden site bogged down by outdated technology and a poor user experience. The cluttered design made it difficult for users to understand the organization’s mission, engage with its many ongoing projects, or find ways to donate. The absence of a modern, intuitive donation system severely limited the foundation’s ability to attract and process much-needed financial support.
Additionally, the site had to cater to a multi-language audience, with all content requiring seamless presentation in both Ukrainian and English. Balancing accessibility, readability, and ease of use across two languages proved to be a major challenge, especially with over a decade’s worth of media content, stories, and imagery to manage.
Core challenges included:

No user-friendly donation system to support fundraising efforts.
Lack of mobile responsiveness and poor UX/UI.
Managing a high volume of content in both English and Ukrainian.

Craft & Slate approached the project with the mission to elevate—to take a foundation deeply rooted in compassion and build a digital platform worthy of their mission. We wanted visitors to feel the warmth of You Angel’s work the moment they arrived on the homepage.

Modern, Responsive Design with Wix Editor X: We started by rebuilding the site using Wix Editor X, an advanced platform that allowed us to create a highly responsive, mobile-friendly website. The design is clean and modern, featuring full-screen visuals and intuitive navigation that instantly draws users in. We ensured that the site worked flawlessly across all devices, from desktops to smartphones, providing a smooth experience for every user.
Emotive Visuals and Storytelling: To capture the heart of You Angel’s mission, we wove visual storytelling into the design. Large, emotionally resonant images of the children and families served by the foundation now greet visitors, allowing them to immediately connect with the cause. The stories of these children—stories of survival, resilience, and hope—are featured prominently, turning statistics into human stories that compel action.
Seamless Multi-Language Integration: We tackled the multi-language challenge by creating an effortless system where users can switch between Ukrainian and English with ease. The entire site was built to ensure that all content—text, visuals, and calls to action—flowed naturally in both languages, without compromising design or clarity.
User-Friendly Donation System: Understanding that donations fuel You Angel’s life-changing projects, we implemented a streamlined and secure donation platform. This system allows users to donate in just a few clicks, whether one-time or recurring, and integrates payment gateways that are reliable and accessible for both local and international supporters.
Dynamic Content Management: Given You Angel’s extensive project history, we designed a dynamic content management system that organizes their vast amount of content into easy-to-navigate categories. Users can now explore the many ongoing and past initiatives—from building safe playgrounds for orphans to providing medical treatments for children—without feeling overwhelmed by information.
